The SSTAR lab focuses on creating new treatment and advocacy alternatives for the stuttering community. Our research includes:
- Prosthetic Stuttering Devices, using the tactile sensory modality as a means of enhancing fluency in those who stutter.
- Empowering the stuttering community by researching stuttering disclosure techniques, and their effects on the perceptions of children and adults who stutter.
- Collaborating with leading global professionals in resilience training for children who stutter, as a means of personal empowerment and improving quality of life
